"Having been relatively slim for most of my life, as a 50+ year old man, I became skinny fat.  With most of my weight being deposited in my mid section, I started to look like I was six months pregnant!  So after a decade of inactivity, I joined a gym.  

Unfortunately I sustained an injury (torn meniscus) which put a halt to my workouts due to surgery and recovery time.  This left me in an even worse state of being out of shape in addition to being pre-diabetic, having hypertension and high cholesterol levels.  Needless to say, the doctors wanted to put me on medication.  I was discouraged by this setback, but I’ve never been a huge fan of taking drugs, medication, etc., so I decided to take matters into my own hands and hire a personal trainer to obtain the help I needed.  This is when I met Tyler.  

Tyler has not only been my trainer, he has helped me to understand the importance of a proper diet, a proper warm-up routine, the cons of over training and improper training; and has been a huge motivation.  It has been a year and since working with him, I have lost 25lbs and have brought my weight down to a healthy 174lbs.  My body fat which was over 25% now averages around 11%.  Most importantly, I feel great!!!!  

Often people convince themselves that they are capable of accomplishing these goals on their own but this has been one of the best investments I have ever made.  The things that I know and have learned about my body now, I might not have ever known and I’m glad that I met Tyler.
